Hair Masks and Rinses / Honey, Egg, and Coconut Oil / Rice Water and Lavender
So I thought I'd try out a new DIY hair treatment, well, a combination of two actually. A honey, egg, and coconut oil conditioning mask followed by a rice water rinse! I was a bit concerned about the smell a rice water rinse may leave on my hair so I decided to add some lavender to it too. First the hair mask. I combined a couple of teaspoons of honey with an egg and a couple of teaspoons of coconut oil. The coconut oil I use is the pure stuff you buy in jars (I got mine from Holland & Barrett). I believe I read the pure oil is the best for hair treatments. Mine is solid so I have to usually melt it a little before use. To produce the rice water rinse I rinsed some rice (y'dont say!?) for a little first to remove any potential dirt or impurities. I then rinsed it once more in a bowl but kept the water.
